Susanne Johnson Phillips, NP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified nationally in Family Practice. She holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner certificate, which she received, from California State University, Long Beach.
Susanne has worked at the Laguna Beach Community Clinic, providing
healthcare to all ages in a family practice environment. She
specializes in women’s health, specifically menopausal management.
Susanne has extensively studied and completed numerous postgraduate
courses pertaining to traditional, natural, and alternative
therapies. In addition to menopausal management, Susanne has
worked with Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino
Counties where she gained experience in family planning and
gynecological care.
In addition, Susanne is part-time faculty at University of California, Irvine, in the Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Professionally, Susanne is involved with the California Coalition of Nurse Practitioners as the State Government Relations Director. She is also a member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau nursing honors society.
Susanne has been honored with numerous awards including the
2002 Nurse Practitioner of Distinction from the California
Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and the 2000 State
Award for Excellence from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
